Christmas 2010

The very first thing Isaac does to start his day is smile.   He does this every morning without fail, whether it’s raining or cold, in the middle of winter or on a sunny summer’s morning.   Our job is to see it anew every single day and to truly believe, as he does, that every day deserves to be given its fair chance. Every day Hiatt will say something to make us laugh.   Some of it subtle, most from his unique take on this world, and all from a mind that sees both the levity and brevity of life—with a keen ability to know when and how to use them. Last week we added a small cat to our growing collection of pets.   The dog is happy about this and behaves like a three year old girl who just won the kitten lottery.   If she had the thumbs to tie bows around its head or dress it up in doll clothes she would.   The fish are wary, but content. Where do these days go, that so quickly call themselves a year—these years go, that so quickly call themselves a life...

Retesting the waters.

Just moved my address...see if this works.
