The Shed.™
Of course the first thing I had to do was to get it cleaned out...unfortunately I didn't think to get my camera out while it was all full of tools, but this is the first picture I took.
I started by putting up the desk first and loading in a little bit of equipment to clear a path in the garage for all the displaced tools. The wood for my desk came from an old building that was torn down on Pacific Ave. Large pieces of old growth fir that you can't find anymore.
After I got the shelf built, I had to sand down the wood so I wouldn't get splinters. This is the first time that I realize I shouldn't have put any equipment in yet--it isn't the last.
After spending a few hour sanding, I put up some insulation, cut a hole for a junkyard window, covered the insulation with soundboard, covered the soundboard with a canvas tarp, got out a few strings of Christmas tree lights and a couple of flood lights and moved all my gear in. of course the soundboard came in after I had moved more gear in, and so all of that had to be dusted as well.
This compiled picture is the closest I can come to show you the majesty of what I've created. Where it really shines is at night, but really I'm just glad I've gotten it all up and running. Feel free to come by and poke your head in the window.

(I was cruising the internet looking for a price on a Goya guitar and you came up in the google search, so I thought I would be a friendly internet user and say hi!)
